The Future Is YellowThe Future Is Yellow

Programs

One song. Eight roles.
One team.

Students step into real music-industry roles and work together to take a song from idea → record → rollout → audience.

Play the music industry

Together, they build the rollout.

How a residency runs

Five stages, run in a classroom or community space, ending with a real record and a live celebration.

01

LEARN

Students meet a working professional and explore the jobs and career paths that bring music to life.

02

PRODUCE

Students interested in production work with the original instrumental stems to build the track.

03

WRITE + RECORD

The class writes a verse, selects a featured student, and records the hook together.

04

CREATE

The experience moves past the booth: students help shoot the music video for the record.

05

PERFORM + CELEBRATE

A live showcase where students perform the record, premiere the video and receive certificates.
