About
Built by someone
who lives it.
The Future Is Yellow is an immersive music-industry education program where students don’t just learn about careers in music — they play them. The program runs in schools and community spaces, and Project Dream Bus will take it on the road.

My why
“There was so much I didn’t know about this industry, and a lot of it I had to learn the hard way. They say it takes 10 years to become an overnight success — and those 10 years built my character. Now I want to give kids the knowledge, confidence and expertise I wish I had earlier, so when their opportunity comes, they’re not just dreaming about it — they’re equipped, prepared and ready for it.”
Equipped. Prepared. Ready.
— Suni MF
Our story
The Future Is Yellow was built to give young creatives a head start.
After spending more than a decade learning the music industry through experience, Suni MF realized how much she wished she had known earlier — not just about making music, but about navigating the rooms, opportunities, and business behind it.
That idea came to life at Benjamin E. Mays High School in Atlanta, where students stepped into the creative process and reimagined Suni’s song “Grow Up.” What started in one classroom became a bigger vision: bring real-world music industry education directly to young people.
Knowledge. Confidence. Experience.
So when opportunity comes, they’re ready.
